Papercraft Porch members can submit 2 Design Requests per month.
On the 1st of each month we release at least 5 new cut files that were created from Design Requests.
Other crafters can "upvote" Design Requests they would also like to see made by giving them a "thumbs up". The more upvotes your Design Request gets, the more likely we are to create it.

What is Papercraft Porch?
Papercraft Porch is a credits-based design membership from Craft with Sarah. Each month, design credits will be automatically added to your account. Use your credits to download products from our shop.
You also get other membership benefits such as video Classes (new Class added each month), member-only Challenges and the ability to make 2 design requests per month. All display advertising will be removed from the Craft with Sarah website (excluding ads on YouTube videos) while you are an active member.

What can I use my Design Credits on?
You can use your design credits towards any of the cut files shown here. New credit-eligible products are released on the 1st of each month, and often throughout each month too.
Most layered cardstock projects are 2 Credits each, but simpler designs are 1 Credit. Greetings cards are 1-2 Credits each depending on the style. Lanterns are 2 Credits each. Larger-then-mat projects are 4 Credits each. Bookmarks are 1 Credit.
Projects released as part of Craft with Sarah's Craft Countdown events are not available to download with Design Credits.

Do I need a cutting machine?
Yes. Papercraft Porch is intended to be used with cutting machines such as Cricuts, Silhouettes and ScanNCuts.
While the files should be compatible with laser machines and other brands of cutting machine, we are unable to offer technical support for these since we don't have access to those machines for testing purposes.

Do I need to pay for Cricut Access?
No! All files come in SVG, DXF and PNG format for you to upload into Design Space or your cutting machine's software. All files released after 1st March 2025 have EPS versions too, plus most of the older layered gnome designs have been amended to also include EPS version.

Are there any ongoing costs with Papercraft Porch?
Papercraft Porch is a recurring subscription product, so you will automatically be charged every month (for the monthly membership) or year (for the yearly membership) unless you cancel. You can cancel at any time.

Do I need a laptop or computer?
I recommend you use a laptop or desktop computer to use the Craft with Sarah website. However, you CAN use a phone/tablet to browse the site and open all of the cutting files.
That being said, the Craft with Sarah website is easier to use on a desktop/laptop/landscape tablet due to the larger screens.

Can I cancel anytime?
Yes, you can cancel your membership at any time from your account page. You will retain all Papercraft Porch benefits until the end of your current billing period.
For example, if your monthly membership usually renews on the 20th of the month and you cancel on the 5th December, you would still be able to access all Papercraft Porch benefits until the 20th December. On the 20th December you would lose access to all Papercraft Porch benefits (Classes, Challenges, etc). Any unused Design Credits on your account remain available to use, even after your cancellation date.

What happens to my unused Design Credits if I cancel?
There are no expiration dates on unused Design Credits following your cancellation date. You can continue to use existing Design Credits after your membership is cancelled.
If you cancel a monthly subscription then then no new Design Credits will be added to your account after you cancel.
If you cancel a yearly subscription then you will still receive 25 new Design Credits each month until the end of your current billing period. For example, if you purchased a yearly subscription on 1st October 2025 and cancelled it on the 10th December 2025, you would retain access to all Papercraft Porch benefits until 1st October 2026, at which time your subscription would end and you would not be charged for another year.

Does this teach me how to design SVGs?
No, Papercraft Porch does not include training on how to create your own SVG files.

What software do I need?
The only software you need to use our cutting files is your cutting machine's software such as Cricut Design Space, Silhouette Studio or ScanNCut's CanvasWorkspace.

Do you have a refund policy?
You may request a refund of your most recent Papercraft Porch payment within 7 days of making the payment, as long as you have not used the Design Credits from your most recent payment to download products with a USD value greater than that of the payment amount.
Refund amounts are calculated on a pro-rata amount based on the full USD price of any designs that you have purchased using the credits from your most recent renewal.
For example, if you are on the monthly plan, the monthly payments are $20. If you downloaded one layered design (2 credits) using the credits from your last renewal, then requested a refund, your refund total would be $15 as the full USD price of one layered designs is $5 USD ($20 - $5 = $15).
If the total USD value of products you have downloaded is greater than your most recent membership payment then no refund will be given.
All remaining Design Credits added as part of the refunded payment will be removed from your account, as well as access to all other Papercraft Porch benefits. Any unused Design Credits from previous (non-refunded) payments will remain on your account for you to use.
